Spectra Talent Contest is a Toronto-based, eight-part television series co-produced by Bell Media that will be included in Bell Local's 2014 line-up (available to 3.5 million subscribers).
Emerging singers who participate in Spectra will gain excellent exposure and grow as artists through our televised talent contest, group recordings, songwriting clinics and free workshops.
Additionally, Spectra is regularly featured at two of Toronto's biggest festivals: Toronto Pride Week and the Cabbagetown Festival.
At Spectra, every act receives great prizes (not just the winner). But our top vocal act gets to record a radio-ready single and wins a cash prize.
Since 2009, Spectra has been Canada's most inclusive talent contest. We provide a welcoming space for singers of all cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities.
Spectra also has an impressive Jury of established performers, arts promoters and vocal coaches.
If you're an emerging singer (or duet) who is focussed, reliable, hard-working and positive-minded, please click here to register for Spectra 2014.
Spectra Talent Contest is a division of the Rainbow Association of Canadian Artists (a registered non-profit organization).
