WHAT WE DO

Spectra Talent Contest is a Toronto-based event that offers $40,000 in cash and prizes, performance opportunities, career launch opportunities, master classes and workshops to amateur performers (of all disciplines).

Since 2009, our mission is to create an inclusive community where amateur performers can fully express themselves regardless of their cultural background, sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Apart from performing at our talent contest (held at Club 120), our performers have been regularly featured at major festivals such as Toronto Pride Week, the Cabbagetown Festival and Halloweek Street Party.

Spectra also has an impressive Jury of celebrities and is one of Toronto's most publicized events.

Spectra is a division of the Rainbow Association of Canadian Artists (a registered non-profit organization).
